HAPPY TUESDAY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!! I hope you had a phenomenal weekend and are having a great start to this amazing week. Okay so, so this morning, I woke up with absolutely nothing to blog about. There are a couple of stories and occurrences I have saved up in my phone, but nothing I was excited about to share. Then something amazing happened! A dear friend of mine sent me a text message that lead to a conversation that has encouraged me so much, you know I had to share (with her permission of course). Please find our conversation … [Read more...]

It’s the little things…

I found this story on livin3.com and decided to share… A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted… “Dad, look the trees are going behind!” His Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed… “Dad, look the clouds are running with us!” The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man… “Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The old man smiled and said…“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got … [Read more...]

Forget “How”!

Have you ever noticed that a lot of times, dreams are given birth to and killed in your head? Why? Because you spend so much time thinking about the how that you stop before you even get a … [Read more...]

Midweek Encouragement – Joy

Have you ever seen one of those “I finally left him” memes on instagram? You know, the ones of a woman who looks to be in her 80s, wearing a big smile on her face? Okay so, I logged into my personal instagram page last weekend and when I did, that was the first photo I saw. When I saw it, I cringed. Maybe it was because I once invested time in a man who never saw himself with me. Or maybe it was because I know others who have experienced this also. Whatever the reason, the photo rubbed me off the wrong way. Then I read the comments… There were a lot of “LOL”s, … [Read more...]

Midweek Encouragement – Rise Above It

November 4, 2015 · 12 Comments

Happy Hump Day Everyone! I hope you are having the most fabulous week EVER! Okay so, one of my mentors sent me a story last week. Disclaimer: I did NOT write it and I honestly don't know who did so I can't give credit. But the story made my life that day so I decided to share, with the hope that it would do the same for you. Enjoy! When Mahatma Gandhi was studying law at the University College of London, a white professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely and always displayed prejudice and animosity towards him.. Also, because Gandhi never … [Read more...]
