Victory

A year ago something amazing happened to me.... I received a check in the mail from my previous employer for work performed when I was no longer there. After a lot of back and forth (because I was sure it was a mistake), I got the go ahead from the agency to cash it. Elated, I sent out an email to my family and extremely close friends telling them what happened and why it is good to be good and all what not. That was my first confession... ☺️ Today is December 1, 2015 and I CANNOT BELIEVE that what started off as emails with gist to loved ones has turned into a full … [Read more...]

It’s the little things…

I found this story on livin3.com and decided to share… A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted… “Dad, look the trees are going behind!” His Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed… “Dad, look the clouds are running with us!” The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man… “Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The old man smiled and said…“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got … [Read more...]

So yea, class was a struggle. I was sooo uncoordinated! ?? I've been training … [Read more...]

Yesterday I was anxious about somethings and found myself feeling some type of way. So I hit up my soulmee (Hi Soulmee!!?) and as always, she made me feel better. As God will have it, at evening mass last night, the gospel was about when Jesus visited Mary and Martha. In case you are not familiar the story, here's the Cliff notes version: When Jesus went to visit his friends Mary and Martha, Martha was all over the place, anxiously preparing food, serving and trying to make sure everything was perfect for Jesus while her sister Mary just sat by Jesus listening to … [Read more...]

Being My Reason

September 23, 2015 · 11 Comments

Okay so, last week I decided to shut down my blog. Writing wasn’t the problem (I write everyday) but I didn't have the zeal to post anything. People stopped reading my posts. Some read and called me to complain about the content (that’s a story for another day). MANY had opinions on what I should do/write about in order to increase my readership. Eventually blogging became more work with less gratification. So on Saturday, I told my friend Sommy I was thinking of closing shop. Sommy: When things like this happen, you have to remember why you started in the … [Read more...]
